My husband and I are fortunate enough to have been included on several incredible adventures curated by Marla Trumper. Most of these experiences were travels for football game weekends, but they were all wonderfully unique. Marla manages to find the nuances that make each location special and incorporates them in myriad ways throughout the trip. Lovely boutique hotels and restaurants, special outings to local “must-see” attractions, and thoughtfully creative welcome bags filled with treats and souvenirs specific to the area are the norm. But it’s creating the things that aren’t as obvious that she also excels at. Flawless connections and transportation to all activities, prearranged entrance to venues and events, and a perfectly balanced itinerary are some of the small details that make a huge difference on a trip with Marla. And if one of the million details she commands falls out of line, perhaps  a traffic jam or a weather surprise, her ability to instantly pivot or substitute is impressive. Her mastery of the details combined with impeccable research, creative thinking and a nimble response to change, make all these experiences unforgettable. Some people have 

a gift for making every interaction seem special, uncomplicated and unbelievably unique. Marla Trumper is one of these people.

I was fortunate to work with Marla Trumper for five years and report directly to her for three of those five. Many people are visionaries or great at dialing in on the details – rarely both.  But give Marla a seat at the table… she will take a regular conversation and come out on the other side with something perfectly curated down to the smallest detail that is personalized that elevates both the host and the guest.  Her style and ability to collaborate maximize the contributions of others. Yet, you will always know when Marla Trumper had a hand in a project.  The experience, expertise, skills, and non-tangibles such as effectively identifying key concepts through relationship building shared with me through her coaching has elevated and affected my work.  Nowadays, when I receive compliments on my efforts in customized experiences at Colorado State University, I am quick to respond “I learned
